Tree Care

The Village plants and maintains trees on the public right of way throughout the Village. The Village arborist, the resident volunteer Tree Care Supervisor and the Village Manager oversee tree services, including everything from simple pruning, mulching, & watering, to tree removal and tree planting.

The Village contracts with independent contractors for various tree & right of way landscape services.

Public trees cannot be removed without the inspection and approval of an independent arborist and a permit from the State of Maryland.
