Street and Sidewalk Repair

The Village is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of all streets, sidewalks and driveway aprons in the public right of way, as well as all street, traffic and parking control signs & devices. The Village contracts with independent contractors as needed to provide the necessary professional and maintenance services. Residents are notified in advance of any street work when possible as resident cooperation (moving cars, etc.) makes things proceed more efficiently. However, emergencies do occur that can prevent advance notice of street work. The Village Council and manager make a yearly walk-through of the Village noting infrastructure conditions in advance of developing the annual budget. Residents should also report any street or sidewalk issues or concerns they notice to the Village Office.
