Trash & Recycling
The Village contracts with an independent waste contractor, Waste Management Inc., for regular household trash and recycling pick-up.
Household trash is collected from residents’ cans at the side or rear of each house twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
Yard Waste -organic yard debris/grass clippings/leaves in brown leaf bags-is picked up from the curb on Mondays from March to November. Check the Home Page for exact dates.
Recyclable materials— mixed paper & bundled cardboard can be co-mingled with glass bottles/cans/plastic containers in blue recycling bin provided by the Village—are collected once a week at the curb on Tuesdays.
