How to Apply for an Absentee Ballot
Residents who are unable to come to the polls on Thursday evening, May 12th, are encouraged to apply for an absentee ballot: (1) by coming to the Village Office (7013 B Brookville Road) in person, (2) by phoning the Village Office at 301-656-4112 or Frank Correl, Elections Committee Chairman, at 301-951-6211, or (3) by emailing the Village Office at martinsadditions@verizon.net. An Absentee Ballot Request Form must be acquired from the Village Office and completed in order to recieve an Absentee Ballots. These Ballots are hand- delivered to the resident by the Election Committee once the request form has been signed and submitted..
Absentee ballots must be returned to the VMA office or Frank Correl no later than 12 o’clock noon on Election Day, May 12th, 2011.
If you request and are issued an Absentee Ballot you will not be able to vote at the polling place on Election Day.
