Proposed Ordinances and Public Hearing

An ordinance (No. 12-09-1) to adopt standards related to permit  requirements for dumpsters and portable storage units (PODS) and to prohibit the placement of dumpsters and portable storage units in the right-of-way was introduced at the December 17, 2009 Council meeting. The link below provides the detailed resolution accompanying the proposed ordinance. 

As required by village regulations, a public hearing on this proposed ordinance will be held at the next council meeting on January 21, 2010 in the Village Office, 7013 B Brookville Road, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM. Questions can be directed to the Village Office at 301-656-4112.
