ACCEPTABLE NON-FIBER: PLASTIC, GLASS & METAL
- #1 - #7 Rigid Plastic Containers including bottles, jugs, wide-mouth tubs, and trays (clean of food waste)
- Aluminum Food & Beverage Containers
- Steel/tin cans such as soup & vegetable cans
- Aluminum Foil & Aluminum Pie Pans
- Glass Containers: jars and bottles
- Aerosol Cans (empty)
- Rigid Plastics which include plastic milk/soda crates, plastic buckets with metal handles, plastic laundry baskets, plastic lawn furniture, plastic totes, plastic drums, plastic coolers, plastic flower pots, plastic drinking cups/glasses, plastic 5-gallon water bottles, plastic pallets, plastic toys and empty plastic garbage/recycling bins
- Clear, Bagged Plastic Film (for example: grocery bags contained within 1-bag, or stretch film and/or shrink/wrap contained within 1-bag)
ACCEPTABLE FIBER/PAPER: Clean, dry paper that can be torn
- Newspapers (with inserts)
- Magazines and Catalogs
- Junk mail
- Cardboard and Paperboard Boxes (including all cereal boxes without liners, frozen food packaging, etc.)

UNACCEPTABLE FIBER/PAPER

- Used paper towels, tissues
- Used paper plates, cups, etc.
- Metallic wrapping paper
- Wax paper, laminated paper
- Any paper contaminated with food waste
- Loose, shredded paper (must be contained in one tied or sealed bag)
UNACCEPTABLE NON-FIBER

- Styrofoam (cups, plates, bowls, to-go containers, and foam packing material of any kind)
- Materials contaminated with food/grease
- Trash/Food Waste
- Colored plastic film (such as candy and food wrappers or bags, colored plastic bags)
- Loose plastic film (must be contained within one bag!)
- Plastic cutlery (forks, knives, spoons)
- Non-container glass (cookward, plate glass)
- Motor oil containers
- Ceramics
- Construction and Demolition Materials
- Wood
- Vinyl Siding
