These lists have been very successful in neighboring towns and many residents have come to rely on the list--it acts as a public service announcement for teens seeking jobs and Village residents seeking individuals to provide a variety of services.
Categories of services offered include general chores, lawn and garden care, snow shoveling, pet care/walking and babysitting, and offer good opportunities for teens to earn money. Snow shoveling services are always in great demand. This is a free opportunity to advertise your services and to earn some money! Prices for these services are negotiated between the Helper and the resident.
Once our Community Helpers List is compiled it will be published in the newsletter periodically and be available in the Village office. If you would like for your name to appear on the Community Helpers List in the Martin’s Edition, please fill out this authorization form and fax (301-656-0030) or mail it to the Village office.
