Bulk Trash

Bulk Trash Pickups are always on the second Saturday of the month in which there is a pickup.  Your items should be out at the curb by 7 AM. The dates for 2012 are: January 14, March 10, May 12, July 14, September 8, and November 10. 

**Please note that since July 2010, pickups are now every other month**   

Acceptable items include furniture, toys and household "junk."  If you are unsure about an item, email the office at martinsadditions@verizon.net or call 301-656-4112.  Please consider donating items in good condition to charity.

Call the Office in advance if you have an appliance to be picked up.

Items not accepted are : hazardous materials (gas, paint thinner, asbestos), tires, batteries, appliances that have not had their Freon removed, dirt, rocks, sand, large tree stumps, liquids, paint, building materials or construction debris (including drywall), and recyclable materials.

* Paint will be picked up if the cans have been dried out or filled with an absorbent material such as kitty litter and allowed to dry completely *

** Yard waste/debris is removed as a part of the ordinary weekly yard waste pick up and is therefore not included in bulk trash pickup **
